Few northeast locations can match Wayne County and the region when looking for a quality workforce at affordable wages.  The work ethic of our people is well documented.   What is extraordinary is the savings gained for such excellence.

Comparing Wayne County's wages to surrounding MSAs reveals a significant cost advantage.  For example, the average wage for Management  occupations in 2008 was $77,310.  Wages in the Philadelphia, Trenton, and New York City MSAs were 42% to 74% higher.  This translates into a significant savings over the course of several years.

National consultants, Moran, Stahl, and Boyer assessed the financial services industry within northeastern PA and concluded that the region's labor market offers "one of the most cost-effective and productive opportunities for administrative support and front office functions in the northeast."
