Partners include Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Administration, Wayne County Job Training, Educational Opportunities Center, Trans American Technical Institute, Northampton Community College, and CDE.
Wayne County Job Training Wayne County Courthouse 925 Court Street, Honesdale, PA 18431 Phone: 570-253-7276 Administers funding for job training services for those who are economically disadvantaged, dislocated workers, or facing significant employment barriers. Partners with Wayne County CareerLink to offer free services to both employer and job seeker, including on-the-job training, classroom training, job search workshops, referrals and job fairs.
Pocono Counties Workforce Investment Board (WIB) Implements the Federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998 within the region. Oversees job training funds and educational programs for Carbon, Monroe, Pike and Wayne Counties.
The Internship Connection This tutorial has the dual purpose of helping the employer gain maximum benefits from an internship program, while also serving as an instrument for retaining youth in our region.
